What is blogging?? -
Well, blogging is a recently hyped technology though the origins of blogs dates back to the early 90s. It took its official name in Dec 97. Basically, blogs are web-logs targetted originally with the intent of recording events online though now it has come to the household use of people just using blogs to talk just about anything - their life, pets, trip visits, fotos etc etc.

Very simply, think of a blog as an electronic diary/billboards.

Where can i blog? -
Two most popular bloggin services that i know of (though everyone has started coming up with blogging services) - Blogger.com (Google), MSN Blogger. I am used to the Google version though msn is pretty cool too (with messenger integration etc). In both the cases, you need to have an account (in case of msn, if you have a hotmail account that should be good enough)

How do i blog? -
Once you get an account setup, simply go create a blog (e.g. My blogger site), select some templates to get started, start a topic (e.g. My nai kutti) and then start typing your blog.

How do i post pictures etc? -
Blogger has a free application called 'Hello' which can be used to post pictures on to blogger sites. This in conjunction with Picasa is really killer, and you can instantly transfer pics from your photo library on to the blogs.
